Latest beta fixes some bugs and adds a couple of small new things
Apple has pushed out iOS 14 beta 3 to those signed up to the developer beta track.
The update includes minor changes such as a new Music app icon, new widgets, and a few smaller tweaks.
The free public beta of iOS 14 is also live but is still on its first iteration. Apple will likely roll out a second version of that soon.
The Music icon is now pink with a white musical note, returning the app icon to what it looked like in early version of iOS. Recently, the icon had been white with a purple musical note.
The fact that this is one of the biggest aesthetic changes tells you all you need to know about this particular minor update. Clock app widgets are now available to go along with the range of new home screen widgets Apple has introduced with this version of iOS.
9to5Mac has reported that other small changes include the new ability to be able to share a song from Apple Music to Snapchat Stories, new icons and colours in the Apple Music app, a fix to a storage bug, and slightly
redesigned Memoji face masks.
The final version of iOS 14 will launch alongside the iPhone 12 series when older iPhones will also get the software update. Currently, it is thought that Apple’s usual September release date for its iPhones may get pushed back thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
