Man was not interested in blood today but yesterday. Record history is from the beginning. ” Says Raymond McNally, a professor at Boston University in the United States. He is a scholar who has extensively studied the folklore associated with blood-sucking vampires. "Ignorant people saw the blood flowing out of the human body and with it the loss of life. So they believed that if the body was replenished with blood, life could be revived, ”says McNally. Probably a factor as to why they're doing so poorly in many cultures. The 'Ririyaka' that is heard in the temples of our country is such a mythical character. Civatetio, found in Aztec mythology, and Lamia, mentioned in ancient mythology, are two such inhuman vampires. There is also a blood-sucking inhuman animal in China. He is known as 'Jiang Xi'. The animal that is said to suck the blood of frightened villagers in the Philippines is very similar to a vampire. Known as 'Manangal', this animal not only sucks human blood. It also has two wings like a bat to fly. Not only that, but garlic is feared and disgusting.

Vampires

Folklore about vampires is common in Slavic and Eastern Europe. Slavic and Romanian depictions of inhuman, blood-sucking creatures in various ways. It's like the Eskimos call it 'snow' in 30 ways. That is how the legends of the vampires we know well today were created. According to those myths, the images of these vampires cannot be seen through the face mirrors. They are afraid of garlic. When they see the sun and the cross, they run away in fear of death. Using two elongated incisors, the body pierces and sucks blood. According to those myths, to destroy a vampire, one has to pierce the heart with a wooden spike. Slavic folklore also describes a species of vampire that is not close to humans. According to those myths, they can turn into a cloud of smoke or dust. They cannot enter any house without an invitation. They avoid rivers and streams. They can only be destroyed by deception with a false subterfuge.

Bloodthirsty vampire bats

Blood-sucking bats did not exist in Europe. They were first spotted by Spanish sailors in Central and South America. They were the ones who named these bats 'Vampire Bats'. These bats feed on the carcasses of farm animals, such as goats and cattle. It's like a leech or a mosquito hanging on our bodies and drinking blood. Farm animals do not die from sucking blood. Vampire bats drink only the amount of blood they need.

Bram Stoker and Dandelion

Slavic mythology began to disintegrate the bodies of readers in Finland and the United States with the advent of the character Dandracula in the literary world. Dracula was brought to life by the British writer Bram Stoker. That was in 1897. Stoker's character is based on Romanian Prince Vlad Tepes III. He lived in the 15th century. But truth and bondage are two completely different things. Prince Vlad is a very talented warrior. Able to kill enemies. He was also known as 'Vlad Danraquile'. The name simply means 'Son of the Dragons'.

Son of the Dragons

The Dragons are a sect of Christian knights. At the time, these Dragons were constantly fighting against the Islamic Renaissance in Eastern Europe in the 15th century. The Romanians often fought with Hungary and Turkey. Prince Vlad is considered one of the leaders in these battles. Because of this, Prince Vlad was praised not only politically but also religiously. He was considered a national hero of Romania. Prince Vlad showed no sympathy for his enemies. Captured enemies were tortured and killed by piercing their chests with wooden sticks. Legend has it that Prince Vlad used to drink the blood of his enemies to celebrate his victory. These are the things that Bramram Stoker is based on to create the character of the blood-sucking Dunracula aristocrat in his new story 'Dunracula'.

Used to drink blood

Today vampires are not even heard of in remote Romania. Not only has Storker's connection to the world about blood suckers turned to television and movies, it has become a way of life for some people. These people are called 'Sanguinarians'. These people are drinking blood. But not by piercing people's throats. They drink blood by buying blood from blood banks. It's part of their lifestyle. Sanguinarians live in European countries.

Bram Stoker, who revived Daracula

The most terrifying novel in the world of literature is considered to be Bondram Stoker's Dandracula. The novel Dandrakula has a prominent place in world literature as a brilliant story about the world's beliefs about vampires who rise from the grave and live forever, sucking the blood of the living. It has been more than 100 years since Abram Abraham (Barram) Stoker's Darkracula was published. Ire  ✝️🥀🦇️🧛
