Air Fryer 3-Ingredient Oreo Cake
Are you curious how you can make a whole cake using only Oreo Cookies, milk, and baking powder?

Well, keep reading because we’re going to break it down for you step by step.
Air Fryer 3-Ingredient Oreo Cake

KEY TO SUCCESS #1 – FINELY CRUSH THE OREOS, CREAM AND ALL
This easy Oreo cake is made with three simple ingredients – Oreo cookies, milk, and baking powder.

And we’re using the whole Oreo, including the cream.

If you have a food processor, this is the perfect opportunity to use it because you want to grind the Oreo cookies as finely as possible so that your cake will have a smooth crumb.

You can throw the whole cookies into the food processor.

You do not need to separate the cream filling from the cookies before crushing or grinding them.
To save time, do not remove the cream from the Oreos before crushing them.
– Jennifer smith
If you don’t have a food processor, you can place the cookies into a plastic baggie and crush them with a rolling pin or a heavy-bottomed pan.

Just keep in mind that the cookies need to be fine crumbs before you add the remaining two ingredients.

KEY TO SUCCESS #2 – AIR FRYER OR MICROWAVE
This easy cake doesn’t even need an oven!

You can cook it in the air fryer or in the microwave in just about 30 minutes.

Pour the cookie crumbs into a mixing bowl then add in the baking powder and milk.

Stir the batter until it is completely combined.

The batter will be thin and this is okay.

If cooking in an air fryer, preheat the air fryer to 340 degrees F and grease a heat-safe baking dish that is approximately 6 inches in diameter.

You can also cook this cake in the microwave, but be sure to use a microwave-safe dish that is about 6 inches wide.

A 6-inch silicone cake pan (linked below) would be perfect for this recipe.

The cook time is similar for both methods.

Air fry or microwave (on high power) for 15 minutes then turn the pan 90 degrees and cook another 10-15 minutes.

All microwaves and air fryers cook a little differently so continue cooking until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

KEY TO SUCCESS #3 – POUR THE CHOCOLATE GANACHE OVER THE TOP
Wow, wow! Doesn’t that rich chocolate ganache look divine?

This simple ganache is made with only two ingredients. The first ingredient is a semi-sweet baking chocolate bar.

Not the chocolate bars in the candy aisle. Look in the baking aisle for baking chocolate bars. They are normally located close to the chocolate chips.

Before you unwrap the chocolate bar, use a heavy-bottom saucepan or a rolling pin to break up the chocolate bar into tiny bits.

Breaking up the chocolate bar will ensure that it melts quickly and evenly. And since you are doing this in the wrapper, you won’t end up with a big mess.

In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the heavy cream for 30 seconds. Check it to see if it’s hot and steaming. If not, heat for another 20-30 seconds until hot.

Remove the cream from the microwave and add in the chopped chocolate bar.

Make sure the cream is completely covering the chocolate then just walk away and let it sit for about 5 minutes to allow the chocolate to melt.

Stir the mixture until the chocolate is smooth then let it sit uncovered for about 15-30 minutes until it is starting to thicken.

Once it has thickened, pour the ganache over the cake and allow it to drip down the edges.
